With the recent legalization of recreational marijuana use and acquisition, many New Yorkers were finally able to sigh with relief. However, this new mandate was passed prior to the state establishing a regulatory bureau that will administer the technicalities behind this particular operation, regarding quantities, fees and costs, specific products offered, and methods for access. As such, there are currently little to no reliable dispensary options in the community, and we are months away from the state’s establishment of a legal place to acquire these commodities.
